With these instructions on data protection, we would therefore like to inform you when we store which data and how we use it, of course, in compliance with the applicable German case law. The privacy policy of the Alexander Beach Hotel & Village is based in particular on the current Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). In the case of internet usage, we use the Telemedia Act (TMG) of the Federal Republic of Germany to protect your personal data. 

Basically, you can visit our website without telling us who you are. Our web server automatically stores information of a general nature. This includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the websites you visit with us, and the date and duration of the visit. This is only information that does not allow conclusions about your person. We evaluate this data only for statistical purposes and only in anonymous form. 

Personal data is inventory data such as your name, address, account, card or phone number, email address or IP number. Incidentally, we collect, process or use personal data only if you voluntarily provide us with such information voluntarily and if it is otherwise permitted by law or if you have given your consent. This usually happens when you have made a reservation contract with us online or send us a request (booking request or e-mails). 

Use and dissemination of the collected data 
We exclusively use the personal data provided by you for the communicated or agreed purpose, so usually for the settlement of the contract with you, to answer your request and for information on current offers of our house. If you make use of our services, generally only such data will be collected that we need to provide said services. If we ask you for more extensive data, it is always on a basis of voluntary information. The processing of personal data takes place exclusively for the fulfillment of the requested service and for the preservation of justified own business interests. 

Are personal data forwarded to third parties?

Processing and use of your data for the purposes of consulting, advertising and market research only takes place with your express consent. Your data will not be sold, rented or otherwise made available to third parties. Transfers of personal data to governement institutions and authorities are made only in accordance with mandatory national legislation. 

The Alexander Beach Hotel & Village implements technical and organizational security measures according to §9 BDSG in order to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized personal. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. Access to it is only possible for a small number of authorized people and people subject to special data protection who are responsible for the technical, administrative or editorial support of data.    

Declaration of consent of the user
By using our websites and the offers contained therein, you agree that the personal data you have voluntarily submitted will be stored by us and processed and used in compliance with this privacy policy. 

Right to information / public list of procedures 
According to §34 and §6b BDSG you have the unrestricted right to gain acces to  information about your data stored by us and in accordance with § 35 BDSG the right to delete or block inadmissible data or the right to correct incorrect data free of extra charge. Upon request, we gladly inform you in written form, whether and what personal information we have stored about you. s far as possible, we will take appropriate measures to update or correct your stored data at short notice. In these cases, contact the management directly. The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) stipulates in § 4g that the data protection officer has to make the following information in a suitable manner in accordance with § 4 e BDSG. The object of the company is the management, operation, marketing and support of hotels and catering establishments, including all ancillary business directly or indirectly serving the business purpose. Standard deadlines for the deletion of the data 
After expiry of the various statutory retention periods, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data are not affected, they will be deleted if the purposes mentioned under point 4 are omitted. 

Planned data transmission to third party countries
Data transfers to third party countries arise only within the framework of the fulfillment of the contract, the necessary communication, as well as other measures expressly provided for in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Data transfer to third party countries outside the EU member states, in particular those whose data protection level is considered low, or to countries outside the EU currently does not take place; such is also not planned.
